Chuck Elberti, Bass Guitar

Inspired by 1950s rock & roll and The Beatles, I knew at an early age that I had to make music. The Animals' tune, "We Got to Get out of This Place," with its bass line intro., turned me on to the bass guitar. My musical journey started with some local and regional bands out of Buffalo in the late '60s and early '70s.

After a 20 year hiatus from the music scene, I jumped back in with both feet...

During the last decade I've played with Rochester bands such as Last Call (southern rock), Intruder (rock), Hollywood Al & The Mix (R&B/soul), Hip Pocket (R&B/soul), Geoff Harder and The Moonlighters (rock), Blue Avengers (R&B), Black Out Blue (blues/rock) and Promise (Motown). I've opened up for acts such as The Average White Band, The Tubes and Maria Muldaur. I have had the opportunity to play in bands with musicians that have backed the Godfather of Soul (James Brown), Millie Jackson, The Platters and Bo Diddly.

I'm really excited to be a part of The Chris McKain Band -- great music, great people and excellent musicians.
