How do we sum up BUD, BAKE & BLUES at the River Street Grill & Pub? This was the follow-up to the sweaty, wild and rowdy  Bud, Bones & Blues event back in July and what a follow-up it was.

River Street Grill owners Paul and Richard had a big tent waiting for us this time around, the weather was terrific, and the people who came out were some of the best music fans we've had all summer. River Street chef Ralph definitely knows his way around a clam bake and there was tons of great food and drink for everybody. Thanks to the many people who reserved spots in advance and to those who just stopped down for some last-minute blues on a beautiful day. We had a blast with you partying until dark.

We are also very happy to have been recorded at this show by the very talented Jim Morris of Live Band Recordings, www.livebandrecordings.comSome of those first cuts from the show are now playing on our website. We hope to have a CD "Live at River Street" of some of our best cuts from the show, available down the road (as many of you have been asking us for a CD) and we'll keep you posted when that is together.

So now, we have to think of a way to top this event with another next spring. Bud, burgers and blues? Bud, baloney and blues? Bud, bagels and blues? Well we better leave that to the party planners and we'll just stick to the music.

Thanks again everyone.
